You may have already seen the story about the little boy in the middle of this picture. He cuts grass to earn some extra money and calls his company Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Service.
Not long ago, a woman hired him to cut her grass. While doing it, he accidentally cut a small part of the neighbor’s yard too. The lines between the two lawns weren’t clear. Instead of letting it go, that neighbor actually called the police on him. Can you believe that?
But here is where the story takes a turn that will put a smile on your face. Joe Revay, the man on the left, saw the story and it made him so upset that he decided to help. His wife later shared this beautiful post:
“I’m not usually one to brag but I have to brag on my husband. He is one of the kindest, most selfless and humble men I know. A 12 year old boy in Maple Heights was working hard mowing lawns and had the police called on him for mowing a small part of the neighbor’s yard. We were so upset. Here is this young boy and his siblings just trying to make some money and keep busy, so my husband stepped in. You do not discourage kids or anyone doing the right thing. My husband owns a landscaping business, so he reached out to his mom and helped this boy with some equipment like a blower to make his work a little easier. What a wonderful young man and family. God bless them and I feel so blessed to call this man my husband. Be kind and always spread love.”
Afterward, one person summed it up perfectly. They said, “That’s how you make America great.”
I could not agree more. Thank you Joe for your kind heart and thank you Reggie for inspiring us all.
