Trump admits Putin ‘let me down’ on Ukraine peace talks

President Trump responded to British PM Keir Starmer’s remarks about the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Russian leader “let me down,” the US president said Thursday, while Trump has sought to negotiate an end to the war with Ukraine.

When Starmer spoke, ahead of Trump, the prime minister declared that “[Vladimir] Putin has shown his true face.”
