Why do they always get so triggered when people say tipping is optional?
Came across a video of a lady taking her family to eat at bww’s and the reciept didn’t show a tip so of course people started questioning her. Someone commented tipping is optional and this was their reply. Always the same response.
At my job I’m allowed to receive tips but I always tell customers that while I appreciate their generosity I am only doing my job and to please use the tip on something else for themselves. I don’t ever feel entitled to anyone else’s money. When I started working I knew 100% going in what my base pay was and I’m okay with it.
