HERE COME THE LIES: ‘Asylum Seeker’ Andry Jose Hernandez Romero Did NOT Complete The Asylum Process Before Being Deported, Despite Media Reports

Illegal Immigrant Andry Jose Hernandez, a gay Venezuelan makeup artist, who came to the United States seeking Asylum, has been deported to El Salvador.

The legacy media have once again LIED about the incident, claiming Romero entered the United States “legally”; however, he was not legal at the time of entry, and the asylum process was never completed. Despite initially having a favorable asylum case, under the Biden Administration, including a successful credible fear test, he was deported to El Salvador BEFORE his case could be fully adjudicated.

On May 27, 2025, one day before a scheduled court hearing, Immigration Judge Paula Dixon granted the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s motion to dismiss asylum proceedings for Andry José Hernández Romero. Romero was then deported to El Salvador because he no longer had a pending asylum case. Those are THE FACTS.

It is within the legal remit of the government, through agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), to pursue dismissal or termination of an asylum case on their own if the applicant no longer meets the definition of a refugee. Romero originally applied for asylum due to “credible threats of violence against him in Venezuela because of his sexual orientation and political beliefs.”
