In January, 1000-lb Sisters season 7 star Tammy Slaton posted an Instagram clip of her cousin, Katie Slaton, who was diagnosed with cancer. Tammy’s caption reads, “This is my cousin Katie all we’re asking is either a prayer or a small dollar donation.” She again shared the link to Katie’s GoFundMe page. Upon clicking on the link, several fans noticed the host of the event was none other than Amanda’s fairly new boyfriend and manager, Leonard Moore. Amanda and Leonard seem happy, but fans have concerns.
Fans didn’t like that Amanda’s new boyfriend was the one hosting Katie’s crowdsourced fundraiser. One of the comments read, “@amandahalterman we all know Leonard, your manager, is also your boyfriend. Why is he the one to organize the fundraiser and why is Katie not listed as the beneficiary of the fundraiser? I think that is throwing people off.” The comment got six likes, and Tammy felt the need to respond, writing, “because people think my family do nothing but scam everybody so if we put it in our manager’s name then hopefully people get it that is not going for us.”
It’s also unclear if Leonard started as Amanda’s manager and became her boyfriend, or if it happened the other way around.

Leonard‘s TikTok page identifies him as “Entertainment Manager of Amanda Halterman of 1000lb Sisters/Author/Public Figure,” but he’s mostly been posting on Amanda’s social media account recently. It’s unclear if Leonard has experience as an entertainment manager. It’s also unclear if Leonard started as Amanda’s manager and became her boyfriend, or if it happened the other way around.
