Today I admitted defeat and used a food bank for the first time ever.
I never saw myself in position of needing to do so but recently I’ve become Single parent and times have become hard
It was a trussell trust food bank and wow everyone was so lovely and put me at ease.
Pls if Ur in the same position as me and need a bit of help do not hesitate. I got my food voucher from citizens advice and they helping me with some other problem areas too.
I’ve learnt today it’s not embarrassing to ask for help and when I can I will pay it forward. I was amazed at the amount of foodbajd toiletries too
