Meet Maja M.
She shared an incredibly inspiring story with us about life after overcoming Ewing’s Sarcoma — a rare and aggressive childhood bone cancer.
“I’m a 17-year-old girl who was diagnosed at 13 and went into remission just before turning 15.
Let’s rewind to 2015 — the year I officially entered remission. Just four months after finishing chemo, doctors feared the cancer had returned… but thankfully, it hadn’t. I was beyond grateful.
Since then, I’ve remained in remission with no signs of metastasis. Cancer taught me to embrace life fully and appreciate everything I have. Every single day, I wake up and go to sleep with gratitude — thankful to be living the life I choose.
Next year, I’ll be graduating, and my dream is to become a doctor. I want to give back everything that was given to me. My doctors saved my life — and now, I want to help save others and give them what matters most: the chance at a beautiful life.” 💛
