This is my son and daughter
He passed away in 2015 from heart failure he was 26 and she in 2019 from sepsis, she had cancer and she was 27.
My whole life changed.
My story is about my daughter.
She called me from the hospital totally disorientated and I left work immediately to go and see her. She was in and out of consciousness and she was moved to ICU soon after I came there. I couldn’t go with her because the hospital had strict visiting hours.
That night at about 10 o clock I got a call from a strange number and it was a sister in the ICU, she said my daughter want to take it to me. I was instantly awake. She just said she wanted to tell me that she is worried because the antibiotics aren’t working and she knows that she is going to die. I said she must just be patient the meds will do their thing. She said she love me forever and we hang up. Just before 12 the hospital called and said that we must come because she is not going to make it they had to put her on oxygen and it doesn’t look good.
When I saw her I just knew that her soul left her body and that she was just holding on for us to see her. I couldn’t speak I was just numb.
2 days before her passing she was staring at the door and said my brother is waiting for me.
I’m much calmer after her passing than with my son because I knew they will be together. They loved each other dearly. I miss them a lot. We shared a close bond and I get my times that it hurt so much I cant hardly breathe. But I know they are looking after me.
I have 2 grandchildren (9 and 6) that miss their mom. I printed a lot of photos for them to remind them of her, I don’t ever want them to forget her.
