finished my IDGAF top π€ (explanation below)So i had a previous attempt of making another top with a wavy pattern using my stash of leftover yarns, but i chose the colours in a weird way that i didn’t like, so i came to the conclusion that i should just say f.ck it, plan less and make more ad-hoc decisions in terms of colours and stitches for each next row.
This way i literally chose the colour and the stitch pattern when i got to the next row, and when i finished one, i just looked in my inspiration folder on insta and picked whatever stitch/pattern caught my eye best at the time.
I used a few patters that were a bit more complex and included multiple rows to build up, but in those cases, the colours were still unknown until i got to the next row.
So i’m sorry, i cannot share any pattern for this, and the yarn i used was leftover cotton yarn, with no labels.
I insanely enjoyed this project, and i’m super proud if myself that i was able to let go of the strictness that i usually have when making something – hence the name: IDGAF.
Might do something similar later on again with a more wintery garment and another set of stash yarn leftovers.
