“I just had my leg amputated recently and I had an anonymous person send me this bear. I didn’t even notice the fact that whoever sent the bear, made it just like me.
This picture was taken after I had washed my face because I was sobbing. Found out it was my classmate Sarah who did this. She said she made a vision in Tedooo app and this wonderful girl crafter responded and made this in the shortest time possible.
The bear has one leg just like me and I’ve been carrying it around everywhere. Even took it to my physical therapy appointment and my therapist said it was the first time she’d seen me smile since the surgery.
Sarah said there’s this whole community on Tedooo app of people who make comfort items for folks dealing with medical shit. Had no idea that existed but damn I’m grateful it does. Still can’t believe some stranger stayed up making this just because Sarah asked. Shit like this make my day. Thank anon” ❤
