🚲 The Teen Who Rode 7 Miles to Help a Stranger
I’d just left the store when I realized I’d locked my keys — and my phone — inside my car. Frustrated, I kicked the tire.
A teenager pedaling by stopped.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
I explained, adding that even if I could call my wife, she couldn’t help — we only had one car.
Without missing a beat, he handed me his phone.
“Call your wife. Tell her I’m coming to get the key.”
I protested — it was a seven-mile round trip.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said.
An hour later, he was back, key in hand. When I offered him money, he just smiled.
“Let’s say I needed the exercise.”
Then he rode off into the sunset — just like a cowboy in the movies. 🤠❤️
