With money they spent elsewhere, he searched for loose change, bought Ramen from a nearby store, and made meals for himself and his little brothers—just 2 years and 4 months old. Without knowing how to boil water, he ate it uncooked. ‘I’m not sad I’m not with my old family anymore,’ he admitted, ‘but sometimes I like to remember how strong I had to be.’”
