Big Brother 27 Week 7 HOH Should Avoid Nominating Rachel Reilly

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 27!

Big Brother 27 week 7 Head of Household (HOH) Vince Panaro won the iconic Wall competition and is now responsible for nominating three houseguests for eviction, but he’d be a fool to target the legendary queen, Rachel Reilly. As the outgoing HOH, Rachel is especially vulnerable this week because she was ineligible to play for HOH, but Vince should set his sights elsewhere.

During Rachel’s HOH reign, she nominated Vince, Morgan Pope, and Mickey Lee for eviction. However, when Lauren Domingue won the Power of Veto and used it to save Vince against her wishes, Rachel lashed out at her by nominating one of her allies, Rylie Jeffries, for eviction. After Mickey won the BB Blockbuster, Rylie was evicted by a vote of 5 to 4 over Morgan.

Before the live vote, Vince, Morgan, Rachel, Ashley Hollis, and Will Williams formed a new alliance called the Judges. Although Rachel was targeting Vince, and he’d wanted to take a shot at her for weeks, they’re now aligned–for the time being. Now that Vince is HOH, he has the opportunity to do what no one else has had the guts to do yet–nominate Rachel for eviction. However, this would be a disastrous move for his game.

Vince Should Stay True To Rachel

Rachel Is A Fiercely Loyal Player Until She’s Crossed

Throughout her first two times playing Big Brother, including when she won season 13, Rachel was a loyal player to her allies. Of course, one of them was her showmance and eventual husband, Brendon Villegas, but she always stayed true to the people she was aligned with.

Vince should keep Rachel as an ally because she’ll protect him as long as he remains devoted to her. Rachel has a lot of power and sway in the house, and she has ways of working her magic to get what she wants. However, if she doesn’t, she strikes back, which she proved when Lauren used the Power of Veto against her wishes to save Vince, and she viciously nominated Rylie in his place.

The Judges Alliance Could Take Vince Far

Vince’s Other Deals Will Keep Him Safe

Vince has made so many deals with his fellow Big Brother 27 houseguests that he even forgot that he made a Final 2 alliance with Kelley Jorgensen. He’s been called a “weasel” because of his gameplay, but this HOH reign will force him to finally choose a side.

Vince would be smart to stick with the Judges alliance, especially because Rachel is one of its members. With all of his side deals, he could keep himself safe for weeks if he keeps himself off of Rachel’s radar. If Vince nominates any of the Judges, he’ll certainly anger Rachel, which everyone knows isn’t a smart Big Brother move.

In addition, Rachel is the perfect shield for Vince because, as long as she’s in the house, she’ll always be a bigger target than him.

If Vince Comes For The Queen, He Will Be Beheaded

Rachel Is An Old-School Big Brother Player

During Big Brother 27 week 1, Zae Frederich learned the hard way that Rachel isn’t someone to mess with. Although she’s been trying to blend in with her fellow houseguests by playing with a more mellow and modern-day strategy, her old-school Big Brother tendencies have resurfaced, even before she nominated Rylie out of revenge.

When Zae threatened Rachel, she clapped back with the now-iconic quote, “I’d be careful coming for the queen. You will get beheaded.” Zae later declared to Rachel that he wasn’t scared of her, and, as long as he was in the house, there was no way that she’d be a two-time Big Brother winner.

Rachel warned him that if he wanted to act like a child and come for her, she hoped that he knew what he was doing. After this exchange, it was no surprise when Zae was the first houseguest to be evicted.

If Vince targets Rachel this week, he could meet a similar fate. However, if he aligns with her in good faith, they could work together to make it very far in Big Brother 27, perhaps even to the Final 2. Vince shouldn’t nominate Rachel this week, but should instead set his sights on one of their mutual enemies. Vince might be the HOH, but it’s still Queen Rachel’s reign.
