Two young lads, maybe around 12, walked into Bluebirds on Saturday and requested a table for two. They ordered an iced latte and a green tea, then inquired about menu recommendations.
Once they’d finished their meal, I spoke with them. They shared that they have lunch together roughly every three weeks, and were on a quest to find the best eatery in town, declaring ours the winner so far.
They were incredibly well-mannered, proper little chaps.
After they departed, I discovered a note and a tip – my heart just melted.
