A 56-year-old veteran of the Tremonton-Garland Police Department, Sgt. Lee Sorensen was killed in the line of duty on August 17 after responding to a series of 911 hang-up calls. His sacrifice, alongside Officer Eric Estrada’s, marked one of the darkest days in the community’s history.
