I'm watching season 13 episode 3 and I'm on the last few minutes where Meri and Kody are just standing outside and it's so awkward. At this moment you can really tell that their relationship is not ever going to be romantic again. I feel bad for Meri because Kody is just so stupid. He feels proud that she was able to do it by herself, although Meri did ask for a loan from the family she really was just looking for emotional support from her husband, more than financial. She just wanted a supportive relationship from her husband in general where he believed in her dreams and he still couldn't do that. He only believed in her once she told them that she was able to get a loan from another party. It's just sad because at this point, her Sister Wives want and are trying more for a better relationship with her than her own husband.
