Zach, 40, met one of his life’s greatest gifts during a welfare check 4 years ago in Arizona. He was asked to help out on a child abuse case. When he got to the home, he met 2 year old Kaila. She was covered in bruises, had a skull fracture, a brain bleed, & a dislocated elbow. He made friends with Kaila as they first waited for social workers. He & his wife offered to keep her until authorities found her a foster home. The longer Kaila stayed with Zach & his family the stronger their bond grew & eventually they ended up adopting her. She is now happy, healthy, & just graduated preschool! ❤️
