After three weeks of deterioration—diarrhea, deafness, labored breathing—we scheduled Boo’s euthanasia for Friday afternoon.
Thursday night, I locked Wellie in his inescapable pen. At 4am, I found him pressed against dying Boo on the living room floor. The pen remained perfectly locked, spring clips in place. No explanation exists.
Friday morning, hours before his scheduled departure, Boo walked downstairs, dropped his first solid poop in weeks, ate heartily, and could hear again.
He’s still alive, playing, purring. Wellie won’t leave his side. 🐱🐰✨
