Alisa Perales, 10, from San Bernardino, CA, began her educational journey early. Her father Rafael started homeschooling her when she was only 1 year old. By age 5, while most children were learning basics, Alisa was already reading books and solving algebra problems.

She enrolled at Crafton Hills College at age 8, often causing confusion when her father dropped her off at class. Despite social challenges in finding age-appropriate friends, Alisa remained committed to her studies.

She is set to graduate from Crafton Hills College on May 23, 2025. She will earn two associate degrees in multiple sciences and mathematics with a GPA close to 4.0.

After graduation, Alisa plans to pursue a computer science degree and has applied to Stanford University.
