Aria Momin, 9, from Sugar Land has a unique Make-A-Wish dream. She wants to plant 1,000 trees across Houston to replace those lost during Hurricane Beryl.

“The storm came and it caused the trees to fall,” Aria explained. “That made me sad, so I decided to replace those trees by planting 1,000 more.”

Trees For Houston provided the saplings – a mix of eastern redbud, southern magnolia, and loblolly pine. They’ll be distributed at Constellation Field in Sugar Land and Memorial Park in Houston, helping fulfill Aria’s environmental vision.
