“As I was working a detail tonight, I had this adorable little man walk up to me and say, “Ms. Officer, I’d really love to take a picture with you, can we”?
After 6 selfies he took my phone and set my lock screen and background to this picture of us. (what a smartie!) He then followed me around the rest of the night, telling me that he wants to be an officer one day.
I then of course empty my pockets and give him all of the police stickers I had because he needed more. (14 stickers to be exact, we counted them at least 20 times together!)
Meeting little dudes like this remind me of why I signed up to do this job. I really needed his kindness tonight!”
