At 1:15 a.m., I woke suddenly — too rested. I rushed to check my 6-week-old daughter… and found her limp, gray, not breathing. Her chest was still. Her body was cold. I screamed, begged, prayed — certain I was holding my worst nightmare.

Then, a tremor. A hint of pink on her cheek. The rise and fall of her tiny chest. She was breathing again.

Rushed to the hospital, every test came back inconclusive. No answers. No explanation. Just one word: miracle.

Tonight, she sleeps safely in my arms. And I’ll never again take a single breath of hers for granted.
