At my daughter’s birthday dinner, a young girl, maybe 3 or 4, spotted my daughter. While we were all just hanging out, the little girl ran over to my daughter, beamed a huge smile, then ran back to her parents. Soon after, the dad carried the little girl back, her face hidden against his neck. He tapped my daughter and said, “My daughter thinks you’re a real princess and wants to hug you.” ☺👑 My daughter agreed, and the little girl gave her the biggest hug. Everyone in the room was moved to tears and cheers. They took some pictures, and the little girl and her parents waved goodbye.
That little girl saw a “princess,” not a black one or a white one, just a princess. Kids aren’t born with hate; it’s something they learn.
