Big Brother 27 Week 5 Veto Winner Revealed: New Houseguest Secures Power

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 27!The Big Brother 27 week 5 Power of Veto competition has been played, and its victor is a houseguest who achieved her first win. Big Brother 27 week 5 Head of Household (HOH) Ava Pearl nominated Keanu Soto, Vince Panaro, and Zach Cornell for eviction, with Vince as her target. Ava has been considering putting Morgan Pope on the chopping block if she has to name a replacement nominee.

The Big Brother 27 live feeds revealed that Kat Woodman won the Power of Veto. The players were HOH Ava; nominees Keanu, Zach, and Vince; and Kat and Will Williams. The competition included prizes and punishments. Ava won $5,000, while Will won a trip to London. In addition, Vince has an egg-related punishment that will most likely come with a costume and a task.

When the live feeds returned after the Power of Veto competition, Zach was seen saying that Kat was using the Veto on him. Will said that he wanted Kat to use the Veto, and he’d be the replacement nominee. Zach said that Will told him that he respected him so much for giving him the trip to London that he would take his place on the chopping block. Also, Ava was shown saying that she wanted to make sure Keanu stays in the house this week.

What Kat Winning The Big Brother 27 Week 5 Power Of Veto Competition Means

Kat Should Leave Ava’s Nominations The Same

With the way that the Big Brother 27 house has flipped week after week, it would be risky for Kat to use it to save Zach because it would open a possible seat for her showmance partner, Rylie Jeffries, who was on the block last week. Although Ava wants to target Morgan, it would probably be better for Kat to respect her nominations unless she’s positive that Morgan would be the replacement nominee.

In addition, Zach still has his secret $10,000 prize power that he can use to save himself from the chopping block by paying off the HOH. If he does, Ava would be forced to accept the money, and he’d be safe for the week. If Kat doesn’t use the Power of Veto on Zach, he’ll be safe anyway because of the power. He’s set himself up to get through the week no matter what happens.

Our Take On Kat Winning The Big Brother 27 Week 5 Power Of Veto Competition

Kat Is Building Her Big Brother Resume

So far during Big Brother 27, Kat has only been known for getting into public arguments with Ashley Hollis and Rachel Reilly, and for her showmance with Rylie. By winning her first game, she proved that she could be a competitive threat as well and began to build her Big Brother resume.

Also, it’s good for her and Rylie that she has some power this week, after Rylie lost his HOH last week, when Mickey Lee used her HOH Interrogation power to overthrow him.

It’ll be very interesting to see what happens if Kat doesn’t use the Power of Veto and Ava’s nominations stay the same. Zach will surely use his power to save himself if he’s still on the chopping block after the Power of Veto ceremony, so Ava will have to name a replacement nominee, which will most likely be Morgan. Ava would also have earned a total of $15,000 this week if Zach gave her his money.

This is definitely an unpredictable week with Kat winning the Power of Veto, so it’ll be exciting to see what happens next. It seems that Vince will be leaving if he doesn’t win the BB Blockbuster, but, if the target shifts to Morgan, she could walk out the door. It’ll be another week of expecting the unexpected in the Big Brother 27 house.

Big Brother 27 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday on CBS.
