Blake Lively alludes to Justin Baldoni legal drama at Time 100 gala: ‘So much to say’

It starts with her.

On Thursday, Blake Lively spoke at the Time 100 Gala in New York City after being named one of Time’s “most influential people,” where she seemingly gave a nod to her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

“I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,” Lively said during her speech, which lasted around six minutes at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

The “Gossip Girl” alum, 37,  then talked about “the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today.”

Lively said it was “surreal and deeply significant” to be an honoree “in a time where the most valuable currency seems to be anger, it feels like an act of defiance to commune and celebrate all the good that is alive in the world.”

Lively has been making headlines for over four months for her ongoing legal battle with her former “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni, 41.

The actors’ legal feud began in December, when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, who not only co-starred in “It Ends With Us” but also directed it.

The hit movie, which came out over the summer and is based on a novel by Colleen Hoover, is about a domestic violence relationship between their characters.

Lively’s lawsuit alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set.

According to the legal docs, the “Gossip Girl” also accused Baldoni of “a coordinated effort to destroy her reputation” after the movie was released.

In the docs, Lively said that the alleged smear campaign caused harm to her business and led to her family experiencing “severe emotional distress.”

Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, for $400 million over alleged defamation and extortion.

A trial date has been scheduled for March 2026.

During her speech at the Time 100 Gala, Lively said that being called “influential” was “a significant responsibility.”

She added, “How we use that matters. Who and what we stand up for, and what we stay silent about, what we monetize versus what we actually live, matters.”
