“I made the choice to birth Gigi. On the day of my induction, my son came running in with the biggest smile, jumping into bed for morning cuddles. I held him close, tears streaming down my cheeks. ‘Ty, I’m about to birth her,’ I whispered. He looked into my eyes and said, ‘Juss, I’m so proud of you.’
We made it home just in time to tuck him in that night. As I kissed him goodnight, I shared a special story:
