I was at the Pilot on Cumberland Ave on my way home and saw a Knoxville Police Department officer. He pulled up to the pump, opened the passenger door of his cruiser, and a man with a gas can got out. The officer then went to the pump, used his debit card, and filled the gas can. Amidst all the negativity in the world, it was heartwarming to see this officer’s professionalism and dedication to serving others. I wish I knew his name! Thank you to this officer, and all officers, for their service and kindness.
