“I’ve gone back and forth about sharing this because I don’t want it to sound like bragging… but honestly, I can’t help but brag a little on my middle daughter. 💖

A while ago, she told me she wanted me to donate her Christmas money to a nonprofit called ‘Buy A Tree, Change A Life.’ This organization helps take children off the streets — giving them food, safety, education, and a real chance at life instead of being sold or forgotten.

I’ll admit, when she said that, my heart was bursting with pride… but it was also hard. I wanted her to have a “normal” Christmas like her brother and sister. Even my youngest, Nessa, told me she would share her gifts if I didn’t buy her sister anything.

Still, I did as she asked — I made the donation.

And wouldn’t you know it, her blessing came back tenfold. A few weeks later, about five teenage girls from the orphanage wrote handwritten letters to my daughter — thanking her, telling her how much her kindness meant, and how this nonprofit had literally saved their lives.

I sat there reading those letters with tears streaming down my face. No gift I could’ve bought her would ever mean as much as that.

I’m so grateful for the hearts my children have. These pictures, these letters — they’ll forever remind me that generosity and compassion are the most beautiful gifts of all. ❤️😭”
