Jason Schwartz, a plumbing technician at Handyside Plumbing in Etters, PA, was gathering tools from his car. He noticed a trash bag moving after someone had dumped it by the roadside.

Initially thinking it might be a snake, Jason used a pipe to move the bag. That’s when he discovered an abandoned kitten inside. His client provided a blanket and box for the two-week-old kitten who could barely walk or keep its eyes open.

Back at the office, marketing administrator Olivia Thomas took the kitten to Valley Green Veterinary Hospital, where it was diagnosed with pneumonia.

Olivia decided to adopt the kitten, committing to vet visits and feeding it every two hours.

“People do a lot of bad things out there so it makes me feel better that I can correct that,” Olivia commented.
