When Kody and Janelle were courting, they broke both LDS and AUB courtship rules by kissing before their wedding. To be fair, he kissed three of the four before marriage.
Decades later – after building a life, raising kids, and breaking apart – he took her on what ended up being their final date. He got all giddy saying he felt like a guy on a first date who’s “jonesing” and asking "are we gonna kiss after this date?”
But Janelle had already told him nothing physical would happen abd didn't even like holding his hand. It’s such a negative full-circle moment.
