Last night, I had just finished working two long 14-hour shifts. I stopped at the grocery store to pick up something quick for dinner. While I was checking out, I heard a woman in the next line start crying. Her daughter asked her what was wrong, and the mom said, “We can’t afford to eat tonight.”
Someone standing behind them gave her a couple of dollars, and she used it to buy her daughter a Kids Cuisine frozen dinner.
I looked at her and said, “Get whatever you need—I’ll pay for it.”
The truth is, I almost never stop at this Walmart. But I believe God puts us exactly where we’re meant to be, right when we’re needed most. 💕
