Meri Appreciated R’s Support but Not Christine’s

The family firepit BBQ episode is hilarious.

First, K makes it clear that he considers himself as having three wives, not four at that point by only making three firepits with three tables. You could argue that Meri doesn't need her own, but even then, since she and R are doing the same things, that table and firepit could have been designated as their joint space.

Then, Christine sticks up for Meri in the interview by pointing out the disparity, only for Meri to snap back when its her turn, claiming she doesn't need a table or firepit and won't be having a s'more. Yet, when R tells K to make Meri a s'more, she pushes over it and points it out as R having her back. Like, is she serious Christine pointing out a disparity was wrong while R having a pity s'more made was having her back

Plus, regardless of the big deal made out of the protocols, everyone was pretty much mixing. K went from family to family, wife to wife without hesitation. Janelle and Christine’s groups were very close to each other. R brought Hunter a gift while he stood in close proximity and it doesn't seem like it would wiped down. Dayton kept getting close to Garrison and was only stopped once and that was by Janelle telling that grown adult that she wanted to respect his mother's rules.

Other than the pretense of separate family spaces and R yelling at the kids to stay away from each other they might as well have just mixed normally with each other.
