Any one else get rubbed the wrong way with how Michael Halterman (Amy Halterman’s now ex. husband) was portrayed during season 5 of 1,000 lbs. sisters?
IMO Amy began to see herself as a “reality star” who could do better than her then marriage. She definitely had groupies, weirdos and fans sliding in to her DMs filling her head. I think she wanted out of her marriage and fabricated an awful narrative about Michael.
It was clear that Michael helped her more with the kids than she led on. She really lost it when he was gone and didn’t seem to have a grip on anything. She accused her siblings/ family of not helping her care for her children. Her siblings not helping her was clearly not a situation that happened. It just leads you to assume she yelled the same to poor Michael.
Michael should really get some sort of compensation for getting dragged the way he did in season 5.
