I’m right here.’ What I really needed was for someone to look me in the eyes and say, ‘I know you’re not okay.’ My daughter did just that. I try so hard to stay strong for her — but she sees me. We sat like that for an hour. It was one of the most beautiful gifts I’ve ever received.”
