NEW: Multiple individuals arrested after kidnapping a swan from a park in Queens, New York.
The group was seen stuffing the animal into their Prius before speeding off.
Local teacher Stephanie Santiago says she believes the swan was a parent to four cygnets.
Thanks to locals, three of four suspects were later arrested.
When law enforcement searched the vehicle, “they found all kinds of swan feathers” but no swan.
It’s currently unknown where the swan is.
