Nicole Scherzinger revealed that she turned to her fellow panelist for advice when she was considering whether to leave The Masked Singer. Nicole was one of the original panelists on The Masked Singer, along with Ken, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, but she’s been absent from the show for seasons 11-13 because she starred as Norma Desmond in both the West End and Broadway productions of Sunset Boulevard, and Rita Ora has taken her place. As The Masked Singer season 13 finale is about to air, there are signs that Nicole could return to the show in the future.
Nicole Scherzinger shared that one of her fellow panelists was her support system when she decided to leave The Masked Singer.
On Today With Jenna & Friends, Nicole and Ken reunited when she surprised him while he was a guest co-host, bringing him to tears. She shared that Ken was her support system when she decided to leave The Masked Singer. Nicole explained, “We’ve always had that connection. Ever since we met. God, it’s been, like, eight years ago or something from the beginning of Masked Singer. He literally is my brother from another mother, and he has championed me since day one.”
Nicole added that it wasn’t easy for her to make the decision to leave The Masked Singer, but Ken helped her through it. She said, “This was a hard decision for me to make because I was gonna have to say goodbye to some things, and to my Masked Singer family, and he was there. I’ve called Ken several times, asking him life advice, and he’s always been there for me.”
Nicole also revealed that Ken came to see her perform in Sunset Boulevard with his family, and he was her biggest cheerleader. She said, “And then his whole family came to the show! And let me tell you. He was in the audience, and he was so loud. It was hilarious. He was laughing before anyone else. I was like, ‘I wonder where Ken is.’ Then I heard him right in the beginning. I was like, ‘I know exactly where Ken is.'”

Nicole Might Return To The Masked Singer In The Future
Nicole and Ken’s reunion was so warm and full of love. It’s obvious that they care very much about one another, which could mean that she’d be willing to return to The Masked Singer in the future. Sunset Boulevard is closing on July 13 after a critically acclaimed run that resulted in seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Lead Actress in a Musical for Nicole. She previously won London’s prestigious Olivier Award for the role.
It would be wonderful to see Nicole come back to The Masked Singer, even though Rita has been doing a fantastic job. Nicole was superb at guessing the contestants, and host Nick Cannon even nicknamed her Sherlock Scherzy because of her incredible detective skills. In addition, Nicole always wowed everyone with her phenomenal performances on the show.

It’s very sweet that Nicole called Ken for advice about leaving The Masked Singer. The panelists always appeared to really like each other and have a strong camaraderie, so it’s nice to see that it was as real as it seemed. Nicole and Ken have a very special connection, and it’s beautiful to hear that he championed her, and encouraged her to spread her wings and star in Sunset Boulevard. Now that the show is closing, and Nicole and Ken have spoken about their friendship, these are good signs that Nicole might be ready for her Masked Singer return.
