“Yesterday, we celebrated your birthday… ❤️ Just six months ago, we were told you wouldn’t make it this far. After being diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in multiple organs and end-stage kidney failure, I brought you into my home so I could care for you and show you the same love you always gave me growing up.
I’m beyond proud of how hard you’re fighting—for your grandchildren, for all of us. You’re still the incredible DAD you’ve always been, and I’m so thankful I got to spend another birthday by your side.
Your journey has taught me to truly appreciate life and to be grateful for every single day, because nothing is guaranteed. Keep fighting—we’re all behind you, and we love you more than words can say.
