Rachel Reilly Needs To Win Big Brother Season 27 Fan Favorite

Voting has begun for America’s Favorite Houseguest for Big Brother season 27, and there’s one person that deserves it more than anyone. The America’s Favorite Houseguest prize was first introduced in season 7 and has given the audience the chance to award prize money to their favorite player, whether or not that person wins the game. While the prize was originally set at $25,000, today the winner receives $50,000.

Typically, the Favorite Houseguest prize goes to someone who made it to jury but didn’t wind up in the final two chairs, although there are a few exceptions. Tyler Crispen became the first player to win the prize and come in second place in season 20, and Taylor Hale was the first person to win Favorite Houseguest and win the whole show. Tucker Des Lauriers was the first fan-favorite to get evicted before jury.

This season, there’s a jury member who deserves to win above anyone else. Not only did this person play a great game, but they made history in Big Brother season 27: Rachel Reilly.

Rachel Reilly’s Elimination Was Unfair

Rachel Reilly deserves to win fan favorite. In Big Brother season 27, Rachel became the first person ever eliminated from the game, rather than evicted. No one voted Rachel out, and she was instead sent to the jury house for losing a competition.

Rachel’s elimination sparked outrage, both from fans and former Big Brother players. Big Brother is a social game, and it was unfair for her to have been eliminated with no chance to save herself socially. Even if Rachel hadn’t been selected to compete, someone was going home solely for losing the competition. It would have been one thing if Rachel had been voted out, but this was unjust.

Of course, Big Brother‘s motto is “expect the unexpected,” but Rachel’s elimination fundamentally changed the game, turning it into a show far more like The Challenge than the Big Brother that’s been on for 25 years. Rachel needs to win fan favorite to prove that her elimination never should have happened, and to show that she was robbed of her game.

Rachel Reilly Played The Best Game Of Her Career

Not only was Rachel sent to the jury house without any votes to evict, she had never been nominated on Big Brother season 27. She masterfully succeeded in getting Zae Frederich out of the house, knowing he was targeting her. She also formed one of the only successful alliances of the season, The Judges, securing her safety during Vince Panaro’s HOH.

Rachel may be a polarizing figure at times, but she was playing the best game of her career when she was unceremoniously eliminated. Had this specific twist never happened, Rachel may have gone on to win the whole game. Alas, since she’s a member of the jury, she deserves to be rewarded with the fan favorite prize.
