This morning, as I waited to follow my daughter’s school bus to attend a field trip at Venetucci Farm—she attends Sunrise Elementary—I witnessed something truly heartwarming. A police officer pulled up, got out of his car, and helped a little boy who had missed his bus. The officer drove him to school, helped him out of the car, bent down to tie his shoes, and then walked him inside.
In a time when there’s so much negativity surrounding police officers, I felt compelled to capture and share this beautiful moment. How amazing is it to see such kindness? I didn’t catch this officer’s name, but I knew I needed to share this so the world can see that not all police officers are bad.
