Today, as football practice ended, an elderly woman and her young grandchildren were walking by, struggling with heavy bags of groceries. They kept stopping to rest, and the bags looked far too heavy for them. I was about to offer her a ride home, but before I could, several football players—tired from their workout—walked over to the woman.
After a brief conversation, they took the heavy bags from her and her grandkids. They walked with them for five blocks, making sure the woman and her grandchildren got home safely with their groceries.
