We were flying home with our baby just five days after she was born. Boarding early, we passed several men in hunting gear — and I couldn’t help but wonder if they’d judge our family. As we settled into our seats, nervously wiping everything down, two of them approached us. To our surprise, they smiled and said, “Congratulations, you three make such a beautiful family.” It was a powerful reminder not to assume the worst — kindness shows up where you least expect it.
