Wednesday afternoon, I was driving west on I-40 when my blood sugar suddenly dropped to a dangerous level. Thankfully, there was a Burger King at the next exit.

Barely thinking straight, I stumbled through my order and mentioned to the voice on the speaker that I was diabetic and needed food ASAP.

When I pulled up, I was stunned—Burger King employee Tina Hardy came RUNNING toward my car, squeezing between the building and the drive-thru lane, just to hand me some ice cream to stabilize my blood sugar. 🥹

She later explained her husband is also diabetic and she could tell I needed help. After I paid, she gave me my food and told me to park nearby so she could keep an eye on me until I felt better.

That’s not just customer service. That’s humanity. That’s kindness. 🙏

When I was steady again, I went back, took her picture, and told her supervisor what she did. But I want more people to know about her.

✨ If you believe heroes deserve recognition, please share this so Tina Hardy gets the love she deserves—from the public and from the big bosses at Burger King.

Because sometimes, a small act of kindness saves the day.
